Ariège is easily accessible by plane, train or car.
Once you arrive, a car is essential to explore the region, as public transportation is very limited.

Approximately 120 km — around 1 hour 30 minutes.
• Take the southern ring road towards Tarbes (exit 25).
• Continue on the A64 motorway for about 60 km and take exit n°20.
• Follow the signs to Saint-Girons (28 km).
Be attentive: this road passes through several villages with frequent speed checks.
In Saint-Girons, follow the direction Guzet Ski Station – Seix – Oust.
In Oust, take the road to Ercé (24 km).
When entering Ercé, you’ll see a small grocery shop on your right.
100 m further, turn left towards Hameau de Cominac up to the church.
Drive uphill for about 1 km. After two sharp hairpin turns, you will see two large garbage containers.
Take the road opposite them, marked gîte rural.
Follow this path for 800 m:
at the first big bend, the access to La Cachette des Grenouilles and La Pitchounette is on your right.
You will find a gate with two black pivoting bars designed to keep animals out.
Drive slowly, push them with your car, then continue to the parking area.
